Accessibility
ShrinkDaily is committed to making this site usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we treat it as part of building something trustworthy.
The standards we follow
Website accessibility laws require digital platforms to be usable by people with disabilities. In the United States, compliance is primarily driven by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). For the best compliance framework, we use the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Courts and the Department of Justice typically cite WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the benchmark for compliance, and an updated standard, WCAG 2.2, is widely encouraged. We build toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA and follow WCAG 2.2 where we can.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with a clear heading structure on every page.
- A visible skip link and keyboard-accessible navigation.
- Visible focus outlines so keyboard users can see where they're.
- Color contrast that targets Level AA, and text that resizes without breaking the layout.
- Reduced-motion support for people who prefer less animation.
- Labels on interactive controls, and meaningful text alternatives for visuals.
