Evidence Standards

Every concept carries an honest evidence label so nothing reads as more settled than it's.

Evidence labels

  • Strong: well-established, extensively studied constructs.
  • Emerging or mixed: real but still developing or debated.
  • Educational model: a branded teaching model that organizes established science and makes no independent scientific claim.
  • Under review: evidence level not yet assigned.

Sources

We attach verifiable source attributions where the originating work is unambiguous, list authoritative bodies such as the APA, NIMH, DSM-5-TR, and MedlinePlus, and mark concepts without a specific citation as citation pending rather than inventing one.

Clinical boundaries

Clinically sensitive topics carry expanded disclaimers and route to crisis resources. ShrinkDaily is educational and not a substitute for care.
